The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) hosted a working visit of a delegation from the Federation of German Pension Insurance – Berlin.
During their visit to Bulgaria, the social security experts from the German institution were introduced to the different types of pensions granted and paid by the NSSI. They learned more about the conditions for acquiring the pension rights in Bulgaria, as well as what type of documents are required to submit an application for a pension.
The Bulgarian side presented the electronic exchange system used by the NSSI, as well as the activities of the local offices and the social security archive. An important part of the working meeting was the clarification and commenting on individual cases from the practice of the two institutions. All topics of mutual interest that arose during the talks were also discussed.
