The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) hosted a two-day working meeting with representatives of the National Office of Social Insurance (NOSI) of the Republic of Moldova. During the expert talks, key topics related to the challenges facing pension systems in the context of increasing human mobility and migration processes, as well as the implementation of European regulations and bilateral international agreements in the field of social security were discussed. The discussion also focused on the importance of international cooperation in enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of social security systems.

The meeting enabled an in-depth exchange of knowledge, practical experience and innovative approaches between the two institutions. Opportunities to improve their capacity, including through training and retraining of staff, were explored as an essential factor for providing better services and increasing user satisfaction.

In the process of the talks, the desire to continue the partnership between the NSSI and NOSI through joint initiatives, trainings and expert meetings was also expressed, which will contribute to the development and modernization of the social security systems in both countries.
